Adding a Urologist in Montana

Our client's medical group in Montana is seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join our Urology Department, to serve the communities of Great Falls and north central Montana.

They presently have three employed urologists with their medical group which is a part of a large multi-specialty medical group. The urologists provide a wide range of general urology including pediatrics, endourology, and reconstructive urology, female urology with an emphasis on pelvic floor disorders, infertility, and oncology. Both outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures are performed at their Hospital, which is just a short walk from the clinic, and accessible via an enclosed skyway. The group's urologists also collaborate with oncology and radiation oncologists at the Sletten Cancer Institute to provide continuity of care for cancer patients. The urologists have a strong internal referral base from 130 medical group providers, and additional support from local and regional providers. The opportunity to provide outreach clinics is also a rewarding aspect of our practice.

Compensation and Benefits:
This opportunity is an employed position. We offer a nationally competitive compensation based on a productivity model and our comprehensive benefits include paid vacation, retirement plan, generous CME, relocation assistance and malpractice. And Montana has a very favorable malpractice climate.

Their health system maintains state-of-the-art facilities. The hospitals has 580-beds at its two campuses (that includes 146-beds in long-term care and 20-beds at Peace Hospice of Montana) and partners with over 250 area physicians. They are proud to be among the first in Montana to offer da Vinci Robotic Surgery for a multitude of surgical proceeds including prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, ureterolysis, pyeloplasty, and adrenalectomy.

Work Hours/Call Coverage:
Physicians enjoy making rounds at one hospital, just a short walk from the clinic. Call is one day per week, and one weekend per month, and shared with a local urologist. The Urologists have the opportunity to run outreach clinics 1 to 4 days per month if desired. In-patients are admitted by hospitalists, and urology is consulted when appropriate. When on call, urologist will average one consult per day. Weekend call averages one shift per month, so a physician can enjoy all that Montana has to offer.

Local Community:
Great Falls is a city of 60,000 population, with a regional draw of over 275,000. We experience very mild winters, and enjoy blue skies over 300 days per year. Great Falls is a wonderful and safe place to raise a family, with nationally ranked public schools. The quality of life in Great Falls is unsurpassed in the Rocky Mountain West. The Missouri River, a blue-ribbon fly-fishing destination, runs through the middle of town. Cultural activities include the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, a respected local symphony, and the Charlie Russell Museum. Outdoor activities include camping, hiking, horseback riding, water & snow skiing, rock & ice climbing, boating, white-water kayaking, off-road motor sports, upland bird, waterfowl, and big-game hunting.
