This clinic is proud to provide high-quality urgent care services in an accessible manner. Patients are always seen by a professional medical provider from the staff of physicians, x-ray technicians, and medical assistants, who work hard to provide high-quality care and a positive patient experience. They offer a comfortable waiting area, friendly and professional staff, and state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray and a full lab, to ensure that all patient needs are fully addressed.
The new Medical Director will oversee a staff of 4 physicians and 5 mid-level providers. The physicians are all board certified in family medicine. Most providers work part-time schedules.
This role is approximately 80% clinical consultation and direct patient care and 20% administrative duties.
Providers see an average of 32 to 35 patients per day. During flu season, the daily patient volume can be as high as 45 visits per day. All providers work with the assistance of a trained medical assistant.
Duties of the Medical Director will include, but not be limited to:

While nights and weekends are not specifically required, the Medical Director should occasionally work night and weekend shifts, in order to interact with the staff and be visible during those times.
The Medical Director will lead monthly meetings with all providers to discuss best practices. These meetings can be in-person or via conference call.
There are no on-call duties.
The practice utilizes the DocuTap electronic health record system.
The culture in the office is very friendly with open communication. The management team has a firm commitment to providing every resource possible to the clinical team.
