Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 12/05/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A hospital based radiology group in south Texas is looking for ongoing diagnostic coverage full time starting late November. The job is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm every week ongoing. This is a team environment with no call and no weekends. The radiologist must be currently Texas licensed and be board certified. The radiologist will sit in one of three chairs at the hospital one chair is the ER chair reading 80-100 studies a day of plain film, cat scan and ultrasound, and some MR. This chair is 50% plain film and then the other mix of modalities. The second chair is just reading ultrasound and cat scan around 50 studies per day. The third chair is supervision flouro cases, the PA's do the actual cases so only supervision is needed, the radiologist will perform 6-12 paracentesis and thoracentesis per day and read plain film between cases.
