A leading private, not-for-profit hospital is looking for an adult psychiatrist with addictions experience to treat mostly adults with about 5% of your patients being between the ages of 13 to 18. The patient base is 100% outpatient. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday. Call is 1 week per month, phone back up only.

You'll provide initial and follow-up assessments for patients within the chemical dependency treatment program and collaborate with counseling staff to assure the best care for patients. You'll participate in weekly multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings and may need to induce and maintain patients on Suboxone.

You may also have the opportunity to grow into the role of medical director since you will assist with coverage in the absence of any medical director within.

You need to be board certified or working towards board certification.
