Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare located in Staunton Virginia, just outside or Charlottesville, is recruiting an Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for Residential Treatment work. The facility is a 42 bed Adolescent Intensive residential treatment facility and 16 bed group home that serves young men ages 13-22 diagnosed with psychiatric illness and intellectual disabilities (IQ 45-75). Cognitive, behavioral and emotional disability including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injuries and other dual diagnoses to include significant medical comorbidities are common. The facility helps young men learn the skills they need for transitional and independent development. The mission is to provide young men education and vocational services to prepare for a more independent future through positive guidance. The work environment at Liberty Point is collegial offering opportunity for both personal and professional growth. The physician has many clinical and administrative support services to assist them in their care of patients.

The position can be either full time employed or as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with extensive C/A experience or interest in cognitive, behavioral and emotional disabilities as well as Autism spectrum.
