Our Starlight Program is dedicated specifically for active duty military members and veterans experiencing significant behavioral and substance abuse issues. Stoningtons Detox Program is aimed at engagement, orientation and stabilization. The clinical program is led by a Clinical Director, a licensed clinical staff and a dedicated Discharge Care Coordinator who will assure that every client completes a safe detox protocol and is introduced to 12-step model of recovery. Emphasis is on understanding the disease of addiction and solidifying a long-term recovery plan. Physician responsibilities will include admission evaluations, treatment team leadership and direct care of patients in the inpatient and residential rehab programs. In addition there will be clinical staff supervision, communication with base personnel as necessary and program development and management.

*Must be Board Eligible/Certified in either General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine with interest in Detox and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services. Experience with Active Military and Veteran populations is a plus! Must have CT license or the ability to obtain and be suboxone certified.
