Job Description & Requirements
Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

The Army is looking for a motivated and qualified Pediatrician for Madigan Army base in Tacoma WA.

Must have a current and unrestricted state license
There is no malpractice coverage required, as the provider will be covered under Federal Tort.
Must have a current and non-exempt DEA
Must have a current BLS, PALS, and NRP.
Provider can be either Board Certified or Board Eligible as long as they have completed a residency in Pediatrics
One year experience in the last 3 years
Provider will be working in an Outpatient setting seeing 16-20 patients per day. Work schedule will be M-F 730-430. There is no call that will be required.

A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
