Do you know of an Orthopedic Surgeon in the 3rd or 4th quarter of their career and perhaps does not want to perform surgeries anymore?
Visa Candidates will Not be considered - reference: TMel
Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon. The employer really wants the candidate to already live in Texas, preferably in the San Antonio area would be ideal. Client will also consider someone for the Houston area as well.
Ideal candidate is someone who is in the 3rd or 4th quarter of their career and perhaps does not want to perform surgeries anymore.
This physician would be working 3 days a week seeing 20-25 patients a day rotating between San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi clinics. The client pays for all travel.
The physician's job will be seeing patients to perform (or see if they are a candidate) for steroid epidural injections. If the candidate has not performed epidural injections, the client will pay for their education to do so.
The pay is $6,000 per week.......this $288,000 per year
**If the candidate is still performing Ortho surgeries, they could in fact gain a patient to refer to their own practice for surgery. If this were to happen the employer does not gain any financial gain from the physician's gain. So the employer's job could in fact be another revenue source for a physician who only wants to be working a minimum amount of surgery, but yet wants to keep up his/her surgical skills.
Requirements: Must be BC/BE, have a current & unrestricted DEA & Texas Medical License, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history.
