A Texas hospital is looking for an orthopedic surgery medical director. The majority of your work will be building an orthopedic trauma surgery program from the ground up. The position will be hospital employed, and requires a hard working orthopedist with proven clinical excellence and leadership skills. Call is 7 days per month. You must be board certified and you'll need a current TX license. Fluency in Spanish is preferred for this position. H1Bs are encouraged to apply.

The Rio Grande Valley is one of the fastest growing areas in Texas. You'll be just a short 30 minutes from South Padre Island and 40 minutes from the Gulf. The cost of living is low, and the real estate market is buyer-friendly. Also you'll enjoy the absence of a Texas state income tax.
