Physician / Oncologist Physician/ Traditional

 

 Our Client is seeking a qualified Oncologist Physician for an immediate opening at their health care center. Our client is a multi-specialty medical group completely owned by the physicians; currently there are over 150 primary care, sub-specialty physicians and clinical providers.

Physician / Oncologist Physician/ Traditional

Job Responsibilities:

As an Oncologist Physician you will collect medical histories and perform physical evaluations in addition to basic administrative duties, such as maintaining records, coordinating with other medical personnel, and managing the work of staff. You will also perform a wide variety of diagnostic procedures to ascertain the condition of tissues and to detect cancer. Diagnostic procedures include scanning techniques, such as x-ray and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as surgical operations and biopsies.

 

Additional responsibilities for the Family Practice Physician include:

  • M-F 8am - 5pm (afternoon off)
  • Call would be 1 in 4 (call shared with an outside physician)
  • Expanding into surrounding area's
  • In-House infusions
  • New physician would be in one of these areas approx. 2 days a week, but all would rotate going

 

Job Requirements:

We are looking for dedicated and professional Oncologist Physician who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Specific qualifications for the Family Practice Physician role include:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Oncology required
  • Current or Eligible Kentucky medical license required.
