HIGH VISIBILITY ROLE WITH NATIONAL LEADER in OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE

A national leader in workplace health is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead a large single-specialty occupational health practice in Newark, NJ. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced Occupational Medicine Physician to take the next step in his/her career. This is one of the busiest occupational health practices in the country, and the Medical Director for this location is highly visible to corporate leadership, which likes to promote from within. The Medical Director supervises all other staff physicians and clinicians, and works in conjunction with the regional leadership team to set and meet goals and deliver world-class care. The Center Medical Director drives daily delivery of patient service lines and oversees the center’s medical functions. The right candidate has broad vision, is adept at assessing operations and quality assurance and drives for exceptional results. Service lines include workplace physicals, urgent care, DOT exams, vaccines, travel medicine and physical therapy. Clients are employers from a variety of industries and sizes. Thrive in this dynamic role. 

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN INCENTIVES: 
  • Excellent starting salary + Performance bonus + Director stipend

  • 90-95% clinical 5-10% Administrative
  • Work hours - 7AM and 7PM
  • No call
  • Shift schedule - Monday thru Friday with no late nights
  • Oversee a team of physicians and mid-levels

OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or ED
  • Ready to take the next step in your career
  • Prior leadership experience or medical directorship preferred
  • Familiar with profit & loss statements
