Locums - Mason City, Iowa, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

  • Weekends as needed
  • Schedule: 24 hour call from 7a - 7a
  • Call Ratio varies
  • Total Number of Beds: 10
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 5; 3 full time and 2 part time
  • Part time only take calls, no clinic coverage.
  • Locums be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
  • Onsite Lab: Yes
  • Onsite Ultrasound: Yes
  • Percentage of Low Risk Pregnancy: 70%
  • Percentage of High Risk Pregnancy: 30%
  • Percentage of GYN: Current state is 40%
  • Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: 2-3
  • Percentage of Patients for C-Section: 35%
  • Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 3
  • Level II Nursery
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Board Certified in OBGYN - REQUIRED
  • Active IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED
  • ACLS, BLS, ACOG, EFM - REQUIRED
