Our group is seeking a board-certified neurosurgeon to join our practice. Preferred candidate will have interest in general neurosurgery and be interested in a long-term position. This is a unique opportunity to join a practice in one of the most beautiful, affordable areas in sunny Southern California.
- Mainly spine 80%, cranial 20%, 350 cases per year of that mix.
- No Pediatric, No trauma
- Take call once a month for a week- very rarely called in.
- 2-3 days per week in clinic with 25 patients per day.
Admit, evaluate, diagnose, consult, and provide operative care to patients of all ages presenting with (1) injuries or disorders of the central, peripheral, and automnomic nervous system, including their supporting structures and vascular supply and (2) the evaluation and treatment of pathological processes that modify function or activity of the nervous system, including the hypophysis; and (3) the operative and nonoperative management of pain.
Education and Skill Requirements:
MD, DO, MBBS or MB BCH
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA or ROyal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada approved residency/fellowship training in Neurological Surgery.
Current certification in neurological surgery by the American Board of Neurological Suregery or the American Osteopathic Board of Suregery in Neurological Surgery.
Strong communication and leadership skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, empathy, compassion, patience, dexterity, physical stamina, knowledge of brain and spinal cord anatomy.
