Neurologist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Block Shift - Day Pay Rate: $138.00 - 169.00

Facility in Northwestern Missouri is seeking a board-certified Neurologist for immediate coverage. The need is for one week per month of 12hr day shifts. No special procedures required. Stroke certification a plus but not required. Call a Staff Care recruiter for more information today!

A neurologist(locum tenens) is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, as well as medical conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, and neck and spine injuries. Diagnostic tests on the brain, neck nerves, and reflexes offer these physicians insight into the nature of the illness of injuries that their patient is experiencing. Research neurologists participate in clinical studies and conduct research in an attempt to improve treatments for diseases and injuries of the nervous system.

Santa-Cali-Gon Days is one of the city's biggest annual draws, a Labor Day festival held intermittently since 1940. Independence has a wealth of museums, both historical and arts oriented.
