Job Description & Requirements
Neurologist - Physician - (Neurology - Neuro) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/02/2017Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day Pay Rate: $138.00 - 169.00

Seeking Pediatric Neurologist who can provide coverage in south central Alaska. The city is known for its wildlife, arts and recreational parks. The shifts are eight hours in length. EMR System is EPIC.

A neurologist(locum tenens) is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, as well as medical conditions such as Alzheimer's, stroke, and neck and spine injuries. Diagnostic tests on the brain, neck nerves, and reflexes offer these physicians insight into the nature of the illness of injuries that their patient is experiencing. Research neurologists participate in clinical studies and conduct research in an attempt to improve treatments for diseases and injuries of the nervous system.

Required Qualifications
Must be Board Certified. DEA required.
