Neonatologist - Physician - (Neonatology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/06/2017Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day

Houston area hospital needs Neonatologist for ongoing locums coverage beginning in August 2017. Will be doing in-house call and rounding. Must be available for 6 shifts per month. Please call Staff Care for more information today!

Specializing in the care of newborn infants, a neonatologist(locum tenens) is often tasked with providing diagnoses and treatments to infants with birth defects and life-threatening illnesses. In order to become licensed as a neonatologist, a physician must first complete a residency in general pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in neonatology. These physicians provide a wide range of treatments for their patients, and often work with them for long periods of time, as in the case of premature birth.
