Job Description

Company seeks a seasoned, senior expert with a strong medical group background and experience who will have four major duties:

To lead the Company team in engagements with client medical groups;

To work specifically with senior leadership and management teams within client medical groups and their sponsoring health systems;

To participate in the development of new areas of Company expertise in medical group transformation;

To represent Company in sales presentations and follow-up discussions with prospective client organizations.

In addition to these roles, the Executive Director for Medical Group Transformation will participate in other high priority projects related to client medical groups.


Candidate Description

Executive presence

Strong written and spoken communication skills including public speaking

Prior history of communicating with physicians

Prior history of communicating with “C-suite” health system and medical group leaders

Must be a physician (Does not need to be currently in a clinical setting)

Highly familiar with healthcare environment, particularly medical groups

Strong knowledge and experience with quality theory, strategy and tactical planning

Open to and capable of identifying with and represent the “Company way”

The ability to successfully engage with senior health system leadership and to facilitate medical group leadership teams to better outcomes

Ability to convey the “theoretical level” about volume to value and familiarity with at least some of the detailed level issues related to the volume of value transition

Capable of communication in abstract and in concrete terms

Open to travel for client purposes

Project management expertise preferred

Experience in consultative selling preferred

Team player

Qualifications

Compensation:

Salary: 250k - 275k, with bonus compensation.
