Our medical center is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage. This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality care to a diverse and rural community in Northern Alabama. 

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine 
• DEA certification required
• Valid Alabama medical license

Schedule:

• Flexible inpatient position with 10-17 shifts per month
  • Monday-Friday, 8 AM-8 PM
  • Covers night call (8 PM-8 AM)

Practice Setting:

• 170-bed hospital with on-site general surgery, urology, and women's health services
• Join a network of top North Alabama hospitals committed to meeting the community’s healthcare needs 
• Charting: Meditech, with comprehensive training available 

Cases & Procedures:

• You will provide bread and butter inpatient care for adult patients (18+) in a 10-bed ICU and 24-bed medical floor
• Required procedures include vent management, intubations, lines, and codes
