Critical Access Hospital serving three counties in central Maine seeks an Internist for Primary Care. Patients receive high-quality care regardless of ability to pay. The hospital also operates 5 community health centers in satellite locations, providing care in low-resource areas. Core services include emergency care, inpatient care, obstetrics, swing bed services, special care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic radiology and laboratory, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and ancillary support services. Easily refer your patients locally for women's health, cancer care, urology and orthopedics. Tertiary care is available at Eastern Maine Medical Center 40 minutes away in Bangor. The facility is the largest healthcare facility in Piscataquis County, a beautiful area encompassing Moosehead Lake, Mount Katahdin and Baxter State Park. REQUIREMENTS for INTERNISTS:
  • Visa candidates encourages to apply, H1B & J1 sponsorship available
  • Board certified Internal Medicine Physician (BE OK if new grad)
  • Seeking broad practice

  • Excellent compensation - new grads start at $200K
  • $15K sign on bonus
  • Contract re-signing bonus $10k after year 2 with another 3 year commitment
