Two offices: Starke (1 mile from hospital), office is actually a renovated wing of the original community hospital, with over 2,600 square feet and 4 exam rooms. Keystone Heights (15 miles from hospital - towards Jacksonville and Clay County) - Renovated home given to Dr. Restea by a former patient, now equipped with X-ray, a procedure room, and multiple exam rooms.
Dr. Restea has been in practice in Starke for 26 years.
Practice also employs two Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Restea is prominent member of medical staff, including serving on the board.
Originally from Romania. He completed his training at LSU and Chicago. His wife is a CRNA at the hospital.
Option for partnership after 18 months.

Shands Starke Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access facility located in the heart of Bradford County that offers full service orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, cardiology, urology, medicine and gastroenterology programs. Over the past few years Shands Starke has grown the services offered at our facility and as the services have expanded the need for internal medicine specialists in our community has grown. We current have a very busy internal medicine practice in town that is looking for an traditional internal medicine physician to see patients both in the clinic and in the hospital. The practice is owned by a long standing community provider and is looking to bring in another provider to assist with growing volumes with the potential for partnership.
