Physician - Geriatric Primary Care

COMPENSATION (equivalent for part-time):
- $160,000 to $200,000 Annual Base Salary, depending upon schedule and patient volume

This practice serves all of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, as well as the surrounding communities. Patients are located in group settings, such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted/independent living facilities, and other long-term care facilities.
During the interview process, the hiring manager will discuss available practice sites and assign facilities based upon physician preference and home location, to ensure minimal daily travel.
Geriatric primary care practice serving skilled nursing, assisted/independent living, and other long-term care facilities in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and the surrounding area. Open since 2007, the practice boasts a provider staff of more than 5 physicians and 8 mid-levels, with a robust complement of office support staff. They also provide Medical Director services to many of the buildings they serve, allowing the opportunity for additional income and expanded scopes for employed physicians.
Serve as a primary care provider for a dedicated base of geriatric patients located in skilled nursing facilities and other group settings.
The clinical focus is on preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and geriatric primary care.
See your patients as often as you deem necessary, which is typically once per month.
Providers visit 1 to 3 facilities each day, located conveniently near each other.
Physicians see an average of 20 patients per day - this number is flexible and adjusted based on number of facilities visited, travel time, and patient needs. The practice works hard to ensure work days are reasonable lengths and work/life balance is maintained.
Utilize a mobile EHR with an office-based support team for chart preparation, scheduling duties, and additional assistance as needed.
- Colorado medical license
- current DEA
- board certification or eligibility in a relevant field (internal medicine, family practice, etc.)
