Critical Care Positions - St. Mary's Hospital
We have an outstanding opportunity for two Critical Care Intensivists to join Dean Clinic which is based in Madison, WI, and one of the largest multi-specialty, integrated healthcare delivery systems in the country, with more than 775 medical staff members. Our Critical Care specialists will be based at St. Mary’s Hospital and will be part of a new initiative with the creation of our Critical Care Medicine Division. Our group utilizes a 7 on 7off schedule. Shifts are 12 hours in duration and will be from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. St. Mary’s is a level 2 trauma center - acute-care hospital with 350 beds and offers a full scope of medical and surgical specialty areas - except transplants and burn care. The Dean & St. Mary's Cardiac Center includes a 37-bed nursing unit that offers 24-hour telemetry monitoring, 12-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit and a 15-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Dean also provides tertiary care services across an 18 county region through our extensive regional clinic system. Dean Health Plan provides health care coverage for over 400,000 covered lives across our service area. Also for the fifth time in six years, Dean Health Plan ranks highest in member satisfaction with health plans in the Minnesota-Wisconsin region according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2014 Survey. St. Mary’s and Dean is one of the largest fully integrated healthcare networks in the nation. SSM Health Care, parent organization of St. Mary's, in May 2003 became the first health care organization in the country to be named a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winner. The award is the top honor a U.S. company can receive for quality management and quality achievement. St. Mary’s has been designated as one of the top 50 heart hospitals in the nation. In addition, it is also the only hospital in the region to earn the prestigious Magnet Recognition for Excellence in Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Nurses Association.

Dean is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
