Locums - Massachusetts Nocturnist Job (30 Miles North of Boston)

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible family medicine or internal medicine physician
- July 2024-ongoing
- Site will have about 10 shifts a month available
- Ability to do PRN or part-time locums
- The most they will have available is 3-4 shift blocks (not 7 on/7 off) must be ok with this type of shift availability
- Youd get credentialed at two sites
- Credentialing takes two months
- Youd work at one site per shift (most of the openings are at one hospital)
- ~6-8 admissions/night
- They have an admitter who works until 10p either a physician or a NP
- After that, it is a solo position until 7a
- Admit in the ICU with managements of patients by eICU and ICU NP
- No procedures
- Cross cover calls from the floor
- Codes/RRTs response required ED handles all interventions/procedures that are needed
- From the client: According to one of our nocturnists, average calls from the floors 20. That includes photon messages and FYI messages, that means they dont have to come up to the floor 20 times. Besides that, 1 rapid response at night, 1-2 code blues a month on average
- Must have (or willing to obtain) MA CDS, Federal DEA with a MA address on it
- EMR: Meditech
