I am recruiting for a large hospital located on the Florida Panhandle looking to add hospitalist to their existing program. You’d work 14 shifts per month, 7 on, 7 off, or you would have the option of working 2 weeks on, and 2 weeks off per month. Their shifts vary, from 7am to 7pm, 2pm to 2am, and 7pm to 7am.
They offer a one year contract, with a basic benefits package (Benefits – Health; 401K (no match); CME of $2K/yr; Options for Life, Dental, Vision).
You are paid at a flat hourly rate, with a higher rate for night shift work. You’d be employed by a national E.R. organization which contracts with this hospital.
It is an open ICU, procedures are not required, but you will be in charge of running a Code along with a ER physician. This hospital is eventually looking to add an Intensivist Program.
The contract is for 1 year, with a 90 day out, and no non-compete. If you want relocation and sign on bonus, you would have to sign a 2 year contract.
This is a wonderful area to both live and work. Enjoy all the amenities that a coastal Florida Panhandle has to offer.
