Modern and progressive 130-bed, not-for-profit acute care community hospital in Eastern Connecticut is seeking full-time BC/BE Hospitalists (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) for our dynamic and progressive program that maintains an average census of 15 patients per provider. . Our Hospital is a partner of the largest, most comprehensive, integrated health system in Connecticut.  
  • Full-time – average of 40 hours of clinical time per week
  • Base of $210K
  • Annual incentive compensation of up to 20% of base - productivity and quality-oriented – paid quarterly
  • $30.00 per hour night shift stipend
  • Reimbursement for CT license, DEA registrations, Medical Staff dues and Life Support provider courses
  • Reimbursement of up to $750 for annual professional dues
  • 4.6 weeks of PTO
  • 1 week paid CME time and $3,500 for related expenses
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • No procedures are required
  • Average census of 15 patients per provider
  • Schedule
    • Shifts are currently 12 hours long with 14 shifts per month being considered full-time
    • Schedule can be the traditional 7 on / 7 off, however, the scheduler has been doing a month-to-month situation whereby she tries to keep the Hospitalists on somewhat of a fixed rotation but it varies depending on provider/hospital needs.
    • 80% of the shifts are during the day and the remaining shifts are night ones.
  • Internal moonlighting possibilities paid at $120.00 per hour
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
