American Physician Partners is looking for a Hospitalist Director at Rehoboth McKinley Medical Center - Gallup, NM. The hospital, its physicians, providers, and staff are committed to offering Gallup and McKinley County residents the highest quality of patient care. This position offers flexible hours, W-2 contract, and a Directorship Stipend!

About the Hospital:

Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services Services (RMCHCS) is an integrated delivery system providing care for northwestern New Mexico and eastern Arizona. RMCHCS operates a 60-bed acute care hospital, two outpatient clinics, home health, hospice and behavioral health services. RMCHCS outpatient clinics offer acute primary care through its internal medicine and pediatrics practices and specialized services such as general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, ENT (ear, nose and throat), gerontology, infectious diseases and podiatry. 

Practice Details:

  • Physician Shifts: 7on/7off (7a-7p), 24/hr coverage

  • One physician on the floor during day and one at night

  • Open ICU

  • ICU Beds: 8

  • Average encounters:18-20 patients per shift during the day, 6-8 patients per shift at night

  • EMR: Elec T System

  • Back up specialty coverage

 Physician Requirements:

  • BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  • Needs to be comfortable with intubations and vents 

  • Procedures preferred

  • Code back up

W-2 Contract offering:

  • Negotiable Rate

  • Full Benefits

  • Directorship Stipend!
