(3) An experienced gastroenterologist is needed to join a group with 3 gastroenterologists. There will be teaching involved.   • Located in Baltimore, Maryland, a gastroenterologist who has leadership ability is needed for a Directorship opportunity!
  • She or he will be a replacement for their current director who will be retiring.
  • Faculty appointment at a prestigious and renowned university in additional to research opportunities will be offered.
  • This person will be joining a busy group of three gastroenterologists.
  • Practice out of a modern teaching hospital.
  • This is a hospital-based opportunity.
  • Call schedule:  It will be 1:5.
  • Gastroenterology endoscopy nurses are on-call 24 hours per day and on weekends to provide total coverage.
  • Their hospital also has a new and state-of-the-art Gastroenterology Diagnostic Center.  This stellar Division of Gastroenterology offers a full range of diagnostic tests and therapeutic care options, including full endoscopic services.
  • The Endoscopy Center is equipped with the latest endoscopic equipment for the performance of all recognized GI procedures and evaluation techniques.  
  • The Center is the principal site of GI diagnostic and therapeutic work, which includes endoscopy and motility studies. All elective GI diagnostic evaluations (both endoscopic and non-endoscopic) are performed in the GI Diagnostic Center.
  • Endoscopic procedures are also performed on patients who are hemodynamically unstable or on respirators in the operating room or intensive care unit. With the addition of a dedicated fluoroscopy unit (C-arm) in the radiology suites, biliary and pancreatic procedures can be performed during the day and on the weekend.


  • Located in an upscale suburb of Baltimore, Maryland, two general gastroenterologists are being recruited by a well-established and large multi-specialty group.  This busy practice has three gastroenterologists.
  • Both gastroenterology fellows and those who have prior work experience and are practicing will all be considered and welcome to apply.
  • The shared call rotation will be 1:5.  
  • This gastroenterology group practices out of a modern medical office facility and a modern Surgery Center.  They are located at a modern community hospital, and is a short distance from the office.
  • Due to increased patient volume and area/community growth, this group plans to build their own Surgery Center.
  • This busy and well-established multi-specialty group utilizing a common Electronic Medical Record system, linking their primary and specialty care providers, allowing them to collaborate as a team to create a more effective, more efficient and more holistic treatment plan for the patient’s health care needs. 
  • Procedures performed: Colonoscopy, Esophageal dilatation, EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy), ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Stent placement (esophageal, biliary, pancreatic, enteral, and colonic), Internal hemorrhoidal banding, and small bowel capsule endoscopy.


  • Located in Baltimore, Maryland, an experienced general gastroenterologist is needed to join a well-established group with three gastroenterologists. 
  • Work experience is a requirement.
  • The new gastroenterologist will be required to do some teaching. She or he will have a faculty appointment at a prestigious and renowned university.  In addition, clinical research opportunities will be offered.
  • This is a hospital-based opportunity.
