Anchorage, Alaska -- Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join the faculty of Alaska Family Medicine Residency. Full-time position. Excellent compensation and benefits. Our community-based, University of Washington-affiliated program trains residents for rural and underserved practices and is affiliated with Providence Alaska Medical Center, the state's most advanced tertiary center. The program's curriculum was designed to meet the needs of family physicians who practice in remote and isolated Alaska communities. Since opening our doors in 1997, the program has graduated over 150 residents, nearly all of whom are practicing in rural Alaska. Our team includes 20 faculty physicians, two behavioral health scientists, a pharmacy director and two physician assistants. Join us, and make a difference in the health of rural communities.
