A hospital in rural Virginia is planning to hire an additional endocrinologist. The facility needs assistance with the high demand from the community. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Call will be 1:3, but it is quite minimal call. You will be supported by advanced practice providers and another endo physician. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible and fellowship trained. A Virginia license is required to start this position, and CompHealth can assist you with the processing and application. Current residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.
You'll receive a competitive compensation package, bonuses, medical benefits, and 120 hours of PTO, any portion of which you can sell back to the hospital. You'll also be provided relocation reimbursement, a sign-on bonus, life insurance, CME time, a 401K retirement package with 6 percent matching, and malpractice coverage.
Come live and practice this town that is home to a renowned university. The area is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, breweries, galleries, and Civil War era historic sites. Washington DC and Richmond VA are an easy drive away. Let your personal CompHealth consultant know what's important to you. We can connect you with opportunities in the location, and with the perks, that are essential to you.
