CompHealth Inc

Lexington, Kentucky

Full Time

CPH# JOB-2329236

CompHealth is currently assisting a major teaching hospital in Kentucky with their search for an endocrinologist interested in becoming either a junior staff faculty member or a director of their fellowship program. The facility needs a director to take over for a retiring physician. The schedule is Monday to Friday, and the director will generally help fellows during clinic hours. A half day each week will be devoted to research. The director position requires 5 years of experience per ACGME policy and academic experience.

The junior staff faculty position will devote 3 to 4 days in the clinic and the balance of the time teaching. Again, 8 to 10 weeks of call will be required. You must be board certified or board eligible for either position. You will need a Kentucky medical license, and CompHealth can help you obtain one if necessary. J1 and H1-B visa holders are welcome to apply for the staff faculty position.

You'll be provided relocation assistance, a sign-on, life insurance, CME time, a retirement package, and malpractice insurance. You'll also receive a competitive compensation package, bonuses, health benefits, and generous PTO.

You will enjoy living in this major Kentucky metro area that is home to renowned universities and medical centers, a rich mix of culturally diverse peoples, and all the amenities of a big city with plenty of Southern charm.

Let your personal CompHealth consultant know what's important to you. We can connect you with opportunities in the location, and with the perks, that are essential to you.
