A Wisconsin-based facility is currently seeking a locum tenens emergency medicine physician who may be interested in an ongoing or permanent offer. Assignment schedule will consist of 12- and 24-hour shifts and 8-10 shifts will need coverage monthly. Physician will see 20-25 patients per day on average. Covering physician must be board certified or board eligible in IM, EM, or FM and have an active and unrestricted BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS.
Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need. They also visit patients in remote locations and rural farm communities whose access to doctors would otherwise be infrequent at best.
