Job Description & Requirements
Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day

Southwest Oklahoma Indian Health facility needs a minimum of 6 American Board Emergency Medicine residency trained Board Certified or Board Eligible Locum Tenen to provide ED services. The practice setting will consist of 3 shifts either 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, the 3rd shift will adjusted to best respond to patient volume.

Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Required Qualifications
BLS: required, ACLS: required PALS: required, and DEA: required. The emergency department care physician shall have a permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. The providers shall be citizens of the United States
