Job Description & Requirements
Emergency Medicine Physician - (ER Doctor, EM Doctor) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift

The Indian Health Center in northwest New Mexico is in need of Emergency Room coverage for their Hospital beginning as soon as credentialing is complete. The contract will run through the end of the year with possible extensions. There are three 10 hour shifts: evening is 4pm -2am, night is 9pm - 7am, day is 7am - 5pm. The qualified Physician will work a varied schedule that can include all shifts. Any state license is accepted for this opportunity.

Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians(locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.

Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician with a minimum of 2-3 years experience working in an Emergency Room.
Must have BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS prior to start
Current DEA

This 55-bed facility in Shiprock, New Mexico is located near several lakes and hiking trails.
