•25 bed critical access hospital, trauma lvl III.
•ER is 10-12 beds with 15,000 visits annually (average 40/day, summer up to 70/day)
•Work with supportive team of experienced providers.
•Full-time, hospital employed position.
•Administration/transfer rate of 12% and enjoy in-house support from OB, ortho, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, urology and non-invasive cardiology.
•Physicians work single coverage with 12hr midlvl support during the busier times of day.
•Shifts are between 7-12hrs.
•Radiology service includes 24/7 CT on-call ultrasound availability and daylight/weekday hrs for MRI.
•Located 35 miles to UVM Medical Center and have seamless EMS-protocols in place for rapid transfer of our sickest patients.
