Job Description & Requirements
Intensivist - Physician - (Critical Care Physician) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day

An ICU in a town on the shore of Washington's waters is seeking an intensivist for night coverage starting in August through October, possibly ongoing. Please contact Staff Care for additional details.

Critical care physicians (locum tenens) perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in life management scenarios that frequently involve sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care intensivists work with CC units to save lives, treating patients suffering from conditions such as surgical shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative hemorrhaging. These physicians are trained to work in high stress, critical environments and to treat complex traumas and uncommon medical conditions.

Required Qualifications
Board certified critical care medicine is required. Be able to do intubation and central lines.

Preferred Qualifications
EPIC experience, but will train onsite during the day shift if needed. BC Critical care with internal medicine track.

Bill Gates father, Bill Gates Sr. was from Bremerton and worked as a lawyer with a local firm in that city. He also owned an ice cream store, as well as a furniture retail store in the downtown Bremerton. In the 1940s, both Presidents, Roosevelt and Truman, visited this city, where over 80,000 residents were repairing and building ships as it was the height of World War II.
