¦ Cardiology -Currently our existing Cardiologist is doing Diagnostic Cath
Work (250 last year), stress, EEE`s, Nuclear Med Stress approx 300-400/yr.
and Diagnostic Ultra Sounds, = 3450/yr that is not cardiac related. Echos are about 900-1000/yr. This is an Invasive Non Interventional position. A total of 91 patients arrived in the ER in 2009 with a primary diagnosis of AMI anterolateral; AMI inferolateral: AMI inferopost, AMI inferior wall, AMI subendo infarct, and AMI NOS; We are not certified in nuclear med or echo and do not do any electrophysiology. Take call on your patients and then a maximum call schedule requirement for unassigned call of 10 days a month. We have two options for Cardiology in Elko: (1) Private Practice with Income
Guarantee, (2) Employment with the hospital
-B/E, B/C, MD, DO, or FMG with strong communication skills are acceptable
