Are you an experienced Addiction Medicine Physician ready for the next step in your career? Would you like to serve in a leadership capacity, while also maintaining relationships with patients and keeping your clinical experience grounded in the latest science and best practices? Would you also enjoy working for an organization that understands how work life balance affects quality of care, and supports employees' abilities to maintain their own sense of wellness by closing clinics on holidays and early on Fridays? Would you like to join an organization that fosters an environment of continual learning through collaborative team work and an investment in cutting edge research?
As an Area Medical Director, you will oversee clinical operations for your assigned clinics approximately 40% of the time, and provide clinical addiction medicine patient care approximately 60% of the time (40% from a base clinic, 20% from an assigned center within your area). Additionally, you will supervise both Addiction Medicine Physicians, and Advanced Practice Clinicians (NPs and PAs) who provide patient care within an OBOT (Office Based Opioid Treatment) clinical setting. You will be tasked to provide leadership, direction and supportive medical judgment to the clinical team, and ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
