Additional Info: Seeking family and emergency medicine physicians for an urgent care opening in Crown Point, IN. On-site Equipment:- EKG- POCT- Diagnostic Imaging On-Site- Lab On-SiteCommon Diagnoses:- Abdominal pain- Flu- Musculoskeletal pain/injury- Shortness of breath- Upper repository infection- Urinary tract infectionQualifications:- Recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred- ACLS/PALS/BLS- comfortable seeing patients of all ages with a volume of approximately 30 patients per dayThe ideal candidate should be proficient in:- Reading basic X-rays of all body parts- Laceration repair/wound care- Initial ECG interpretation- Interpreting test results- Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Department- Clinic Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m., Saturday Sunday 8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.- Holiday hours: 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
