Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care

Location - New York, NY

1099 Locums Contract

- Needs 1 FT NP. Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (Will accept an FNP with Pediatric CC background)

- Flexible to work days or nights and one weekend per month

- Must have active NY License

- Must have COVID and Flu vaccinations.

- Must have 2 years of experience

- Types of Cases: provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)

- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

JOB INFORMATION:

Dates of Coverage: July/August 2024 - 13 weeks with possibility to extend

Setting: pediatric critical care unit with neurology, transplant, post- surgical patients

Daily Responsibilities: provider role (assessment, critical care planning, prescriptive orders, care coordination, emergency management, Epic documentation)

Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Need 6-13 shifts per month, schedule is 12 hours (7am -7:30pm and 7pm -7:30 am) (weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts), 30 min lunch break deduction per shift. Must be available to work one weekend per month.

Call Schedule/Responsibilities: no

PPD/Census: 14 bed critical care unit

Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: 2-3 NPs on days and nights

Procedures Required/Preferred: n/a

EMR: Epic

Certifications required/accepted: National NP Board certification required, BCLS, PALS, NYS RN and NP license,

Will accept an FNP with Pediatric CC background.

Credentialing Time frame Are temps available: 90 days
