Physicians Employment began January, 1990 as a print publication of job opportunities for physicians of all specialities throughout the United States. In the fall of 1994, Physicians Employment moved to the Internet and became one of the first websites providing classified job listings for doctors. We registered physemp.com on May 30, 1996.  

We oversee the Physicians Recruiter Network of over 55 recruitment firms and our Directory of Healthcare Recruiters has over 1000 recruiters listed. We've been facilitating cooperative placement between independent healthcare recruiting firms for more than five years. To be listed in our directory simply sign in as a recruiting firm from our home page.

We also run the Inhouse Physician Recruiter Network for inhouse recruiters at hospitals and clinics nationwide to share their expertise on recruitment, retention and medical staff development. It offers a forum for a free exchange of ideas and information among inhouse physician recruiters. The Inhouse Physician Recruiter Network's membership currently includes Inhouse Recruiters from over 400 hospitals around the country representing 13,000 hospitals, clinics and private practices.
